Natalia Marin (Spain, 1982) is a filmmaker and cinema teacher.

 

Her work within the experimental film collective ‘Los hijos’ (Javier Fernández Vázquez y Luis López Carrasco) have been screened at numerous international film festivals and art centers as FID Marseille, Centre Georges Pompidou de París, Museo Guggenheim de Bilbao, Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía o el Anthology Film Archives en Nueva York, among others. New Madrid (2016) her first solo work won the  1st BBVA Foundation Grant for Video Art Creation.

 

Her latest piece La casa de Julio Iglesias (2018) was released at Locarno International Film Festival.

 

As a teacher and mentor has collaborated with several institutions and schools as ECAM (Madrid Film and Audiovisuals School), EICTV San Antonio de Baños Film and Television School (Cuba) or, more recently, at Pratt Institute (New York) where she has been mentoring senior students completing Final Projects thanks to Fulbright Grant 2017-2018.
